If you want to befriend dragons, you should try a befriending chant. The only kind of dragon that has a specific befriending chant is the frost dragon. I suspect it is in Dragonish.
For any dragons except the frost dragon, try this one:
Draco-raco Draco-drac
treasure’s leisure’s pleasure.
Draco-raco Draco-drac
treasure’s leisure’s pleasure.
Draco-raco draco-drac
leisure’s pleasure’s treasure.
Aco-draco aco-drac
treasure’s pleasure’s leisure!
And for the frost dragon:
Yupik illumar,
Inuit illumar,
Alutik illumar
Inuktitut illumar
Yupik illumar
Inuit illumar
Sirenik illumar
Atkan illumar.
If you happen to meet a dragon, make sure to be extremely polite, remember which dragon chant belongs to each dragon, and either have a copy of the chants or have them memorized.
The chants are taken from: Dugald A. Steer (Ed.): Dr. Ernest Drake’s Comprehensive Compendium of Dragonology. Somerville, MA 2009.
I will have to stay away from dragons, as I am too old to memorize all these chants. Haha!

You could write the chants on a piece of paper and keep them in your pocket, sir, although the only dragons you might encounter where you live are Dwarf Dragons, who are only six inches to a foot long. They have hives and swarm around like bees. Unfortunately, they are not the right kind to befriend because their table manners are much like those of piranhas… 😐
