The garden is beginning to look good, and has yielded salad and radishes, as well as some leafy greens already. Here are a few pictures taken these past days, as Midsummer is approaching.

I believe that’s a “Fliegenpilz”, although it has no white spots (yet). However, since we have a few of them in the yard this year, I am kinda hoping I am wrong, haha.

From what I know from German folklore, women would make a Fliegenpilzsuppe for their husbands to get rid of them and become merry widows. Haha!
