Here’s a recipe for a healthy homemade dog treat. Our dogs love this stuff! And it is easy and quick to make, too.
Tuna Fudge
Ingredients
- 4 cans of tuna with water (5oz cans, do not drain the water)
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups of unbleached flour
- grated Parmesan or Romano cheese (optional)
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 350ºF.
Mix eggs and tuna in a large bowl, the gradually stir in the flour. Grease a baking sheet well. Spread mixture out over it, and sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Let cool. Use pizza cutter to custom cut into small pieces the perfect treat size for your dog.
Fill small ziplock bags and put into the freezer, taking out only one bag at a time.
I am always on the lookout for new tasty doggie snacks, thank you!

Truth be told, I actually thought of you and your dear dogs when I wrote the post, thinking that another snack recipe to try would probably be appreciated. 🙂
