Next to Ravel, Grieg is probably my favorite composer for piano. He’s one of my favorites to play.

Playing and just listening are probably two quite different experiences. Grieg is something special and no mistake.

Very much so. Aside from the piano concerto, I most enjoy his Lyric Pieces. Playing them always puts me into a “Norwegian state of mind” in some way. The pieces truly do transport me to another time and place.
