This week 146 years ago, our 4th and 5th grandfather on the Denney side passed away.
Our 11th (and 12th) great-grandfather William Southard immigrated from England to the colonies some time before 1640.
Born along Aquia Creek on the east side of Virginia in 1714, our 8th (and 9th) great-grandfather William Suddarth moved a good bit further west into the heart of Virginia before he died on Christmas Day 1761.
This week we remember our 11th (and 12th) great-grandparents Sir William Harris I and his wife Alice Smythe.
